What really stood out to me in this TdF was the breadth of Pog's domination.
He beat his rivals uphill, downhill, sprinting (except Stage 11), and in the TT.
A complete victory.

Yes. He stayed at the beginning of the season the WC was his standout goal. He said at that time too he intended to take the rainbow off MVPs back

Probably a mix of reasons. He has WC as his next big goal, probably needs some rest and certanly her being snubbed does not help.

if you find everything unlikable by a guy then we have a word for that. Noone races as him but that annoys you too when he wins ive seen. Just be honest its hard for Pogacar to ever please you unless he lose lets just call a spade for a spade..

True, but from what I read the selection was made at the end of last year. And one of the criteria was 1-day races where the coach said Zigart never did well enough to merit a spot. But if you look at the points she is the best Slovenia has. Not to mention 9th in Suisse GC and 12th in the Giro.

Someone not disliking him I would argue he is easily the most likable guy in the peloton followed by Van der Poel for many more reasons than one fellow.
