UAE Tour in February is a training race for these guys. What did Vingegaard do in 2020 - 46th in the Vuelta? 105th in the stage 13 TT? You are not being objective. Please do not resurrect the fisherman excuse.

As I keep repeating, this is very obvious arms race. Giannetti was spanked in 2022 and 2023. So he's upped the ante in 2024. But what Vingegaard achieved despite his massive April crash, injuries and hospitalization is frankly every bit as suspect than even Pogacar's dominance.
Mentioning results like that are complete nonsense. Was Vingegaard a team backed GC contender in that Vuelta or was he a dom?

Once again Pogacar has humiliated Evenepoel. So what happens in the next years. Why would Soudal want to keep Remco on this salary, when his contract is up? Why would anyone else ofter Evenepoel a better deal. You see Pogacar is destroying the sport economically, because if the others aren't invested in anymore, it's because of sheer resignation. I've never seen anything like this.

Exactly, sponsors will pull out and it'll be the death of the sport. I think him being popped would actually be better for cycling at this point.

Mapei will bring out bigger guns next year.

They will not let Saunier Duval win unopposed
