At times? Man, I'm starting to think it is a cruel sport every single day. Specially after covid 19I guess it depends on the severity of the injuries. I just caught a few shots and he looked badly hurt.

Cycling is such a cruel sport at times.
I hope he does, as a consolation for what must be a crushing disappointment.Does this mean he's going to the Tour?
It has been a brutal and cruel sport for ~150 years! Covid it just one more nail in the eye ball.At times? Man, I'm starting to think it is a cruel sport every single day. Specially after covid 19
That's what Tao told Koen Bouwman directly after the crash, 'I think I have a broken leg', but maybe hospital scans prove otherwise. Let's hope so.Rumored broken leg according to Eurosport!
Not even the Vuelta a Espana then!
I have never broken a bone in my body. So i have no idea what the exact prospect is with broken legs, especially since it's not a standard cycling injury, like a broken colarbone. How long does it take for a broken leg to heal?Rumored broken leg according to Eurosport!![]()

It's not a standard cycling injury because usually the diagnosis is more specific, like a broken tibia or a broken femur. But of Tao can't determine that by himself.I have never broken a bone in my body. The reference would be Pantani & Moncoutie.I have never broken a bone in my body. So i have no idea what the exact prospect is with broken legs, especially since it's not a standard cycling injury, like a broken colarbone. How long does it take for a broken leg to heal?
I broke a finger in a moshpit and it still hasn't healed 2 years later. Best of luck to Tao
It will depend on which bone—femur is worse than fib/tib usually—and the type of fracture. Bones can heal faster than joint injuries but we’ll know more when he gets a diagnosis. The reference would be Pantani & Moncoutie.
Then, it's 1 year out and it has to be seen at which level he even returns in fall 2024, the start of 2025 respectively.
But those were very severe fissures I think.
Yes I waited 2 weeks to go to the hospital. Stupid mistake by me.Did you go straight to the hospital as soon as it happened, or where you maybe... errhm... slightly not-sober, and perhaps didn't notice until later that there was something wrong? Which might not have helped with the healing-process.

Yeah it can be everything from ready for the Vuelta a Espana to 1 year out depending on severity of the fracture right? It will depend on which bone—femur is worse than fib/tib usually—and the type of fracture. Bones can heal faster than joint injuries but we’ll know more when he gets a diagnosis.

I've got a stunted ellbow as a kid, because I fell from the stairs and broke it. Went to the hospital actually, but the doctor just moved it, asked whether it hurts and send my home then.Yes I waited 2 weeks to go to the hospital. Stupid mistake by me.
Look, now you are the sunny girl for bringing up a rather good example and lightning up our Dysthymia!Guess so. Contador didn't look too bad at the Vuelta after fracturing his tibia(?) at the 2014 Tour.

depends. Contador broke his leg at the Tour but then went on to win the Vuelta. If its a simple fracture, he'll be back later this year (possibly) if its a compound injury... we'll see him next year. If he's damaged some muscles as well...I have never broken a bone in my body.
