Sure.
Landis might be lying when he says he supplied testosterone to Barry while training in Spain. I highly doubt it, but let's say it's true.
No one can deny that there is a mountain of evidence that supports the claim that everyone had to be topping up to finish a race.
The levels of denial are really astounding.

I'm not saying he's lying. What I'm saying is that any human recalling events from several years ago makes mistakes, some of them big. Landis makes doping seem no more remarkable than having a beer. Can you remember each and every person you had a beer with in 2003 and 2004?

Beer gets you drunk EPO not..... EPO doesn't fog your memory like beer. I remember every single cyclist I've done drugs with. From the AIS to Europe to the US. You never forget it. The shame on the face and shrug of shoulders - the face & eyes is what you remember the most.

That's the thing--doping was no more remarkable than having a beer.
Many riders have said as much.
No, I can't remember those with whom I shared a beer in 2004. But I do recall sharing a beer with everyone I knew.
Come to think of it, I'd be more likely to recall someone who said they didn't want a beer, if you catch my drift.

It probably wasn't the best analogy, but my point stands. Nobody has perfect recall, even after ten minutes let alone seven years, so therefore not everything Landis says should be taken as 24 carat fact. He's not lying, but he may be mistaken. I have no idea what Barry may or may not have done, but I wouldn't condemn him just because Landis said so.

Landis may be mistaken. Barry may not have used performance enhancing drugs during a period when everyone save the cook was doped to the eyeballs.
Okay.

Okay.

Although Landis himself, in his interview with Kimmage, suggests that he initially didn't dope at US Postal, but then put himself forward for it so he could get on the Tour squad.

But don't let me stop you picking and choosing your Landis evidence.

I'm not picking and choosing Landis evidence.
Perhaps I wasn't clear enough when I said I'd go along with your idea that Landis may have mistakenly implicated Barry.
What I'm trying to say is that we don't need Floyd Landis to know there is plenty of evidence to suggest every pro tour rider was/is doing something to keep up.

Landis IIRC said initally that everybody at USPS in 2004 was doping, but I personally find it hard to believe Kenny Labbé, Michael Creed and Daniel Rincón were on any program.

There are stories of Nikki Terpstra going for 'shopping' trips in Belgium with Johnny Hoogerland. Dekker_Tifiosi also posted that allegedly Jürgen van den Broeck was a charger as a U/23. He also turned pro for The Hog as well.

Again another example of someone picking and choosing...he neve said everybody at USPS was doping in 2004. He said everyone on the 2004 TDF team was. Since none of the three you mentioned were on that team, it really makes your point redundant.

Hoogerland was known as Johnny Testosteronie.. And Jose de Cauwer has been removed from the position of Belgian 'DS' cause he was caught in a doping ring or something and taught juniors how to dope themselves.

Those people you guys are mentioning aren't teflon dopers. They're your standard, run-of-the-mill dopers. They can't possibly compete with the likes of Klödi.

I agree. You can't be a normal run of the mill doper you have to embroiled in at least 2 to 3 major doping scandles. Klodi takes the cake and even had the audacity to point fingers at the media for concentrating too much on doping. Major Teflon doper.

Top 3 Teflons have to be Hincapie, Kloden, and Levi.

Yes Hincapie turned it from injecting EpO into his eyeballs to "No one more than me wants a clean sport"........ plus "I'm a nice guy and they don't dope"......

How can Levi be a teflon doper when he has been banned once before for it?

He never received a ban as far as I know. He merely had his winning result annulled.

Yup, Klodi is THE master.

Wonder who the new bio passport cases will be - Levi and Horner would make my day.

Contador has an impressive cv having ridden for each of the big 3 (Saiz, Bruyneel, Riis). Can anyone else lay claim to the triple crown ?

Joaquim Rodriguez has had a surprisingly stress-free career
