Nice ones!

Odds on theshack to win team classification went up, who can understand that? Ok they lost some time but they are still at full strength, cant be said about Saxo. 5 minutes is peanuts in the mountains ...

Nice work.

Old Bertie's odds haven't drifted at all after Stage 3 :( Gone up between 1 and 2 cents on Betfair.

Just placed my biggest bet on the overall :p $25 Menchov top 3 @ $5.00

Yeah, we were hoping he would lose time like Rogers and co did. Then his odds would have been decent. But still, whatever he is now is still a good price. It's his race to lose.

Tonight I've gone Cavendish again

$250 Cavendish @ $2

Can anyone explain how head-to-head works, esp on betfair?

In particular if both riders get the same time, what happens with bet and lay?
e.g. Armstrong v Contador. If both got the same time, as you would expect, would I be paid off if I laid against one of them? Probably not sounds too easy.

Its the place that counts, the timedifference doesnt matter. Otherwise all bets in a bunchsprint would be cancelled :)? So if you bet on Armstrong and he finishes 16th while Contador finishes 17th its a winner.
It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile: winning's winning :D

$100 Evans over Armstrong at 11/10

Getting worried for my Green Jersey match (Ciolek/Petacchi) that Pettachi may make it to Paris.

I see RadioShack are odds on for the team prize - surley thats too short? They looked less than impressive yesterday although I suppose there could be some tactics there.

Stage 8
I'm going to lay against Contador to finish in the top 3 today.

I'm sure he could take it if he wanted, but it seems a better strategy for him is to hold off taking yellow a while longer, so expecting a bunch finish of the big GC men as in stage 7

Don't expect the last two to get up, but they are nice value bets.

Just imagine if they ended the race now. Rodriguez. Please, Rodriguez stay up there.

Cheers

Yeah, Vinokourov really hit the wall.

Moreau struggled first at the start of the climb, Vino struggled 6km into the climb and still finished about 6 minutes down.
