Wow I didn't know Morgado was this good. Really impressive.

Morgado over the top with 19 seconds he did the downhill part good last lap after his break. Herzog grinding other of his wheel closing some. Herzog 9 seconnds behind closing on Morgado ten to 15 seconds to the group he broke.

5k left Morgado still 10 seconds. 3.5k left 6 seconds o Morgado from Herzog closing. Looks like Gold and Silver. Morgdo sitting up for Herzog. Morgado sitting on Herzog who looks like Herzog might be stronger on the flats. Herzog asked can I win Herzog attacks Morgado gets back on wheel.

Herzog pips Morgado. Morgado should have waited to come off the wheel close finish now the sprint for Bronze for Belgium.

Nothing to be taken away from Morgado's performance, too.

The course holds the impression created in the time trials.
Probably won't be this selective and dynamic for the elites, but the scene is set nicely.

Morgado looks like an improved version of Quinn Simmons, but unfortunately he didn't have a Sheffield to do his dirty work.

I follow him since last year and imo as I said here before he has a greater engine than Almeida.

Why not just go 18+ into the elite class for worlds? 23, 21 are just randomly chosen based on nothing (not that 18 is much different).

Because not everybody is ready and physically mature enough to go straight to elite at that age, so it definitely still makes sense to have something after the juniors.

This race the U23 has a much bigger stronger peloton so a break getting over a minute is not a problem. Leo Hayter Down didn't look like to bad a fall delayed a bit because his chain came off.

Wonder why he didn't want to stay in the bunch and try his hand in the finale.
