Balmer has suffered an injury plagued first season as a neo-pro - Injured earlier in the season and his first five race days were races like Scheldepris, Amstel Gold, Fleche Wallone, Paris Roubiax and Liege Bastogne liege. He then got sick after the Swiss Nationals and resumed in maryland and the Canadian races where he performed well. He's only had 20 race days in 2022.

Agreed, will be way better weather on Sunday too and the race will be more controlled. Think the parcours is overrated.
