I'd have hoped for the same a few years ago, wasn't an Astana fan at all. then Cav came, then Renshaw working with him, then Kennaugh and Dowsett in the staff this year. I'm a fan now

I was an Astanastan during the 2006 Vuelta, but not much afterwards, although Landa and Bilbao did reignite the flame a bit later on.
Vino's latest comments make it sound like it's either WT or bust, but we'll see whether wild cards will be enough to please their Chinese overlords in case it doesn't work out.

Shame that Tusveld has had to drop this far down, thought he would have been a sensible signing for the likes of Unibet, Q36 or even a shoestring-budget Lotto.

Counterpoint: how many riders on Unibet are better than him? And wouldn't he have been more useful as a domestique for Q36 than adding two failed sprinters/unproven leadouts to their existing sprint trains in Liepins and González, or than Lotto's much more fodder-y signings like Veistroffer or Van de Wynkele? Obviously he isn't a massive loss to the pro peloton but I do feel he's a bit too good to have to drop all the way down to Beat Cycling of all teams.
