I see you are breaking out a new name today.

I think he has been using several names to make a few posts in the last month or so. Maybe they will be used for full time trolling in the future so the first post of a new troll attack is not so obvious.

He has. He's got quite a few of them at this point. Actually had a conversation with himself over in the Evans Weight thread.

While Lance twittered, Contador grabbed two podium finishes.
Same for Vino.

He's tweeted about the same 6 hour ride AGAIN. He really wants everyone to know that he rode his bike today. :p

What would constitute data?

I've seen several articles referencing Lance pedaling at 110 RPM while time trialing... but they don't reference any supporting data. What would suffice for you?

What would suffice is an article written by someone that is willing to put their name to the article (not Wiki Answers for crissake!) and that has some credibility to be able to make those statements (ie, some close association with LA such as a trainer, team member, etc).

Coyle is totally unreliable. LA is also unreliable because he has made many claims in the past, some of which was unashamedly published in Coyle's paper, which have later proven incorrect, some that LA admitted to himself.

Would a team member be reliable though?

I think we can say it's likely but not official. That should please everybody.

No problem.

From LA's twitter TT.

So at some point in the ride he hit 104. That does not mean his cadence for the ride is 104. Unless I misunderstand the image and he shot that while driving on the flats.

I would further add that I am very choosy about what to believe coming from Armstrong. He is a proven liar, and has done many things to try and support his lies. A shot of someone's cadence meter proves absolutely nothing about anything, but does serve the Lance mythos.

No, that's the average cadence on those meters. In little sprints to get up to speed he would likely have gone quicker than 104. I usually go up to around 120 in a normal training ride trying to get a high speed on a dissent of something.

Fair enough, but that means there is just about no evidence you would take. Again I don't think this area is really that controversial. It's not really something to get upset about. Just a little pertubed that BikeCentric had to be so definitive about it. I suppose this kind of reaction is what he wanted.

Ok, I accept that. Never used one. I wonder why the distance is blacked out.

There is evidence I would accept. Television coverage of a TT with many views where you could establish a base cadence. Simple. That could have been any ride anywhere. There's nothing to establish it's a competitive Time Trial.

I don't think it's controversial either. Just watch video of his TT's and you can see what his cadence is. Maybe he'll compete in one at some point this year and we can see where he is now.

That the power. Doesn't want the opposition to know the precise watts.

A commentator said running matharons can slow your cadence down a tad. I don't know the truth of that.

Heh, guess all those frightening race performances he's putting in will give the opposition an idea of what level he's at.

Wait, frightening isn't the right word, is it?

If there was a tail wind then the watts will be below what you'd expect for the impressive average speed of about 35mph. Probably didn't want to spoil it. :)

Wow, the Giro photo really puts it in perspective.
Racers who go all out at many races ie Contador today deserve the respect they get.
That was an amazing Giro.
It is a really hard race.Out of control.

Is that from Eroica?

Can't wait for the Giro stage this year with some of this near the end, will be more impressive than the TdF Cobbles IMO!

Its from the 2005 Giro. The Colle delle Finestre, which had 9 kilometre-long section of unpaved road.

Yeah too bad. Would make things more interesting and contador wouldn't have a chance.

Like Contador doesn't like racing on unpaved roads??
