Yes, back to the more traditional preparations, like Twitter TT challenges with Tri-Athletes in Hawaii.

kurtinsc said:First, "significant" doesn't mean what you think it means. A 1% share of a company is considered a significant stake for most companies. There are 8.75 billion shares of microsoft. If you owned 1%... that would be 87.5 million shares... or 2,625,000,000 dollars worth of stock. 1% of microsoft isn't close to a majority stake. You'd get only 1% of the profit passed on to stockholders. But over 2.5 billion dollars worth of stock is definitely significant.
Demand is privately held, but the overall value of the company is probably over a billion dollars. They had over 850 million in capital they used to start purchasing sites. They put 20 million dollars down on just developing the Livestrong site.

Also, not really getting that LA tw@tter comment... Double standard because of what reason?
Susan Westemeyer said:NO. It is up to you to provide the information.
Stop trolling. You are on the verge of sanctions.

Prodigy said:You're saying it's trolling to ever bring up unsourced information to be verified? That seems very harsh.
Why have you said this in public to me, but your warning to RaceRadio, who has faked posts and posted offtopic links, are in private? Surely given his offense is obviously much more extreme, it should be the other way around?

Race Radio said:You continue to invent things. I have never received a public or private warning.

It says it all over the labels and shoeboxes. I looked at them everyday. Link Those expenses you mention are the costs to produce such merchandise.
Prodigy said:Wow. I don't think you're helping out the mods by saying that. You mean you received no warning for faking other people's posts and trying to bait people with off topic links?
Is this right Susan? But you've just said I am about to receive sanctions for bringing up ontopic information in a relevent thread, and not even stating it as fact but asking for it to be verified by some of the people here that clearly are monitoring Livestrong very closely?

Race Radio said:I am sure we can all agree that a poster like yourself who has been banned over 10 times and has baited the mods with his ability to change IP addresses should not be allowed to continue to post.

Prodigy said:What do you think you would have to do to get banned?
Race Radio said:Yes, the lesson is clear.
I am sure we can all agree that a poster like yourself who has been banned over 10 times, routinely and intentionally high jacks threads, has baited the mods with his ability to change IP addresses...... should not be allowed to continue to post.

Serious question, but do you think that - if the US had a healthcare system like the UK - the need for Livestrong would be so great? It does bother me somewhat to see kids with the wristbands as a fashion statement knowing (and caring) nothing about the charity.

Publicus said:Without knowing what expenses are run through this line, it's not really meaningful to say 100% of the profits are going back to LAF. Nike is making money off the line, no doubt about it.
patricknd said:good question, and i think you're probably correct to a certain extent. one of the areas that i found to be helpful was the financial considerations, because i didn't immediately think about that side, i thought about how get well. my provider wouldn't cover one of my chemo drugs, so i owed almost $20,000.00 for that alone, plus my deductible, max out of pocket etc. livestrong was where i learned about drug replacement programs, and i followed a link from there to amgen, to tour of california, to brake away from cancer, to the manufacturer's replacement program. after all that, it appears that they will be sending my oncologist medicine to replace what they used on me. i think livestrong is a good gateway site, and i still use it. it's a very good site for all the issues you face with this.
