Will he be called a skirt and lacking balls like Vingegaard did when he took the name of his wife?I’d take oumi’s last name too. Just sayin

Knowing he's racing again in 2 months I hope his level is higher than yours. Not that I know what your level is, but stillOne year ago, Remco destroyed the field in Portugal. Today, he's riding at my level. Sad. Hope his recovery will speed up soon.
Well, 100 km at 33 km/h avg would be my top level, more or less. So yes, let's hope he's evolving soon.Knowing he's racing again in 2 months I hope his level is higher than yours. Not that I know what your level is, but still
that's a very strong level!Well, 100 km at 33 km/h avg would be my top level, more or less. So yes, let's hope he's evolving soon.
He just posted a ride again (with Vervaeke) and he's already up to 133km at 33 km/h avg.Well, 100 km at 33 km/h avg would be my top level, more or less. So yes, let's hope he's evolving soon.
At least he's going at a slow pace. I really hope he doesn't try to be great for LBL, and just builds up towards TDFHe just posted a ride again (with Vervaeke) and he's already up to 133km at 33 km/h avg.
But yes, I also do hope that is not his limit at this point because then there's a lot of work still to do.
EDIT: the ride with Vervaeke was yesterday, he posted another ride today: 136km at 34 km/h titled 'the first pushes' so I guess the first specific (interval?) training impulses.
what would be a great number for him? I mean more or lessAt least he's going at a slow pace. I really hope he doesn't try to be great for LBL, and just builds up towards TDF
What do you mean by a great number? Distance and speed? In preparation for big goals he used to do 200-300km rides at 37km/h avgwhat would be a great number for him? I mean more or less

Not the same as everyone peaking for the Ardennes. It’s not like he can make up that lost time, unless he goes for a short peak which isn’t good for his TDF or WC ambitionsit's 2 months away
last year, he was winning races after less than 2 months training.
He'll be fine for the Ardennes
Sounds good to me. Brabantse Pijl, the Ardennes and Romandie before a break and then altitude + Dauhpine/Swiss and NC before the Tour. What truly piqued my interest however is that the article claims Remco will be participating in the Tour de Romandie.
I read the same article in "De Morgen". There it was stated that he is on track physically, but that he tries to disconnect from cycling as much as possible (going to a movie premier, going to football matches,...) apart from his training. No explicit mentionning of mental hardship, but I guess it is implied.Just read an article on wielerkrant.be (with the news inside perhaps courtesy of HLN). In the article it said Remco is having a tough time mentally. What truly piqued my interest however is that the article claims Remco will be participating in the Tour de Romandie.
Only occasionally.Remco isn't posting at Strava?
