Erin might share an attorney with the mistress and cash in as well. Tiger's endorsments might go the way Kobe's did so she should score big now...at least Erin won't have to go back to sitting for porn shots.

After stating that shallow stuff this shouldn't be anyone's business but theirs...

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how/if his endorsement portfolio suffers.

Ashley Madison, the networking agency for those wishing to have an affair, have allegedly offered him 5 million to be a spokesperson. So, there are untapped markets. Personally, I think he'd be a great pitchman for Tang. I mean since the Gemini space program Tang hasn't really been on the national conscience as a beverage of choice. With Tiger's indiscretions and the infamy wrapped around it, it's a great time time for people to get Tang back on their mind, who else but Tiger can help do that?

I'm not going to get into this whole mess beyond this point: you cats don't know either Elin or Tiger personally, so you don't if she's a complete b1tch or if he's just a complete d1ck, both or somewhere in between. Marriage is hard kids.

And two, she's had two kids. Her body no longer looks like this--not that that fact justifies Tiger's actions.

See my earlier post; he was an idiot in this regard. Here's how you do this:

1) Get best buddy to get a cell phone in his name for you to use.
2) Use that cell phone to call girls, if necessary. Do not call on your phone, dumba$$.
3) Limit public displays with these women.
4) Get best buddy to fly women around the world, pay buddy back. Do not have $ for the women traceable back to you, dumba$$.
5) If caught, clam up and shoot finger at media with limited statement. Don't put out "wo is me I have family issues and love my wife" BS wimp statements.
6) Weather storm; 6 months later still have endorsements and dignity.

See how easy that is?

Unless he was planning on leaving his wife there is no reason in the world he should be (A) calling these chicks--for what purpose? to talk about what? (B) flying them anywhere (he's freaking Tiger Woods, his game should be international--why the heck would he need to import a chick?!?!?!? (C) being seen in public with any of them--just stupid.

Stick to what you are good at: golf. Leave the philandering/pimping to the professionals.

Tiger didn't get extra because his beautiful wife was stupid. He said it's because she wasn't nasty.

Well, we agree on not giving the mealy-mouth statement on his website. That made him look weak IMO, and that actually made my opinion of him sink lower. Maybe I'm just not susceptible to fawning over contrite humans.

So, what would you suggest he do? You talk in generalities. Is his legitimate mea culpa like porn...you'll know it when you see it?

Interesting take how men like you are wired to eventually be monogamous, like you say. I don't agree. Then you say we are wired to "spread out seed". I'm confused. Are you an exception?

If we are wired for monogamy then there would be no temptation to stray when the opportunity presents itself (which I am sure it does alot for him) during marriage "issues". If that was the case marriage wouldn't be such a job you must work at. I've never heard of any men complaining that having casual sex as a job, as something you have to work at. That is, unless you look like me.

And, I can pass judgements on Americans because I am one. :D If you think western Europeans, for example, in general have the same attitude towards sex and private lives as Americans then you need to get out more.

Reading is Fundamental.

Apparently talking in code is not.

One other theory.....she knew about it and has known about it and that was why he was so blatant. I/we can sit here and say how stupid he was to not cover his tracks here. How can somebody be so stupid to text, be in public, and pay for these trips?

Then it comes out in the press, and things blow up. She may have just accepted this is how it is and weighed the benefits of being his wife with those strings. Who knows what she does in her life as well. Alot of celebrity relationships are like this.

"He" doesn't need to answer anything. If I was advising him the statement would have been this:

"My family issues are private. Any speculation is just that."

He is an idiot, but there is no law against that. Idiot for not covering his tracks, using his own cell phone, flying that one to Australia and leaving a paper trail, etc. Not an idiot for screwing around.

You see, you guys and the media tsk tsk a famous athlete when this stuff happens and you have no idea what goes on in his life. Posting pix of his wife as if the beauty of a wife determines whether one strays.

He has opportunities when his wife acts like a you-know-what. If anybody says they wouldn't at least feel tempted then they are a liar. IMO most would stray if they were Tiger Woods, or Magic Johnson, or Steve McNair.

As with LA/Kristen, nobody knows the intricacies of their marriage so judging is stupid.

His endorsements may take a small hit initially, but not long term. Not only are Americans insanely hypocritical and uppity, but they also have short memories.

Very little of what you wrote makes any sense. Tie it all together and what do you get? Nothing. Thanks for the generalisations. Take the bold. An idiot for not taking measures to be uber secretive but not an idiot for straying. Dopey, there is a difference between temptation and actually 'just doing it', Woods clearly has no cognitive or behavioural balances in check to just be tempted, he tastes the whole palette and woe the consequences.

Personally I feel sorry for his wife. But not Woods. He's made money...read the fine print and it gets close to a billion dollars from his clean cut image. It was a lie and he knew about it and tried to disclose the matter. Matter like this are no longer private because all financial equity was purchased from moral equity, ie: his image was based on something socially upright, which has taken a massive hit.

Look at the tabloids and comments on articles. The allegations first arose and I'd say 80% or more supported him and were very nasty to those who questioned. Woods response revealed more than anything else. He did not deny...he tip toed around the topic like a doping suspect. I knew straight away from one of his press releases he was dirty and he'd have to come clean in a few days. Three days later looks like TMZ was right all along and Woods changes his tune. NO SHOCK THERE. He was lying to begin with. To those who fell for it, reattach your brains and come back to reality and learn to read people. His lying was obvious. Or maybe I'm more perceptive than others.

I've never been a Woods fan. There are golfers I like, but in whole I always wondered why people argued he was the worlds best sportsman (golf is a game not a sport). I figured it was a black thing. Social equity, support the great black athlete to appease the guilt of white humanity (balancing the scales for perceived and actual imbalances of the last century('s). Nothing wrong with that. I can accept that. Bluntly I sub consciously knew something was not right with Tiger...this incident and drama reveals part of why I had such an inclination. This is just a particular manifestation of an underlying behavioural problem. To those who say Elin will only stay because of money. Yes everyone operates on a dollars basis. Grow up, you may, others don't. Some people marry for love and the right reasons.

Using this plan, he is just meeting to have sex. He might as well used a trusted call girl service.

I kindof agree with the the overall sentiment of your post - but have a different take on how I got there.

On your comment on 'Americans being "hypocritical and uppity" - their are those who will express moral outrage but I don't believe it is confined to any particular nationality.

However - I have seen very few comments in any of the media or online expressing that sort of outrage. Or even people tsk tsking him. For the most part I see commenting on the looks of the ladies - and 'people' tantalized by getting a glimpse at the exploits of a reclusive star.

Again you are correct in so far as people have short memories. But his PR or advisers have been exceedingly slow in damage control. I do think he has damaged his potential to earn new endorsements - but his main one's will continue to 'support Tiger & his family at this difficult time'.

What hurts Tiger the most is not his escapades themselves but it runs counter to his 'branding' and image. An affair may be excusable but numerous trysts with various women sullies the image.

At this stage the marketing gurus have only one card left to play as Scribe said earlier - "sex addiction"! Expect a tearful Tiger to appear on some daytime TV couch after coming out of some expensive rehab.

For him to start putting all of this behind him though - he needs to get back playing golf pronto.

The fact is a lot of us men are weak when it comes to relationships. I at one time in my past made a serious mistake with another woman and it almost cost me my marriage, but I was man enough to admit it to my wife and I fixed my marriage. To the person that showed the picture of Tigers wife, If you play on the most beautiful golf course in the world sooner or later your going to get bored with that course. I'm not saying that tiger was right in doing what he did but I understand that people make mistakes.

Here's another pun brought out by the wise Napoleon Dynamite: "It's a LIE-GER. It's probably one of my most favorite animals."

Really? 10 pages of this ridiculous gossip? Does anyone really care? Isn't there a reason it's called a private life? What a total waste of time. I feel embarrassed just posting here. And no, I did not read all ten pages--just the first, and then skipped here.
