Overall top 10 for Søren Kragh possibly? If he doesn't have to sacrifice himself too much for Dumoulin. And has recovered from his disease.

Dumoulin, Kragh and Oomen could all go Top 10 from Sunweb. But at least one will have to work in the finales.

Just got home and saw the Bora TTT crash. I hope the riders involved are alright. As for the moron they need to find something to charge him with, like endangerment or something.

Amazing TTT time by M-S. It appears the GC is between Dumoulin, Roglic, and Yates. I don't think anyone else can get into the mix especially with the ITT still to come.

I think Alaphilippe is still in it if he wins stages and you cannot rule out SKY

Jut hope there is some attacking racing

It will be all in for Tom Dumoulin as it should be if Sunweb want to win

Sure, but the one doesn't exclude the other.

Dumoulin is absolute leader. This is his main goal for the spring.

The guys over at PCS had a - maybe somewhat dark humour - reaction to that crash...

We are in favor of innovations in cycling but to use randomly crossing pedestrians for more excitement is a bit too much of a good thing

Obviously, but if Kragh or Oomen ride(s) well, (t)he(y) can still be there in the finales. It's not necessary for them to purposefully ship ten minutes, and Kragh has a nice cushion now and will also ride a good final TT.

Crash Bandicoot taken to the next level!

But yeah, the man who caused the crash should be fined.

Didn't watch the stage, but how lame is such a somewhat long TTT in a short stage race? So stupid to eliminate so many riders, there's basically 3 rider who can win now.

I've always been bothered by the Tirreno TTT but this is seriously getting out of hand. Legit MTFs or mountain stages or even super tough hilly stages without murito finish made it kinda doable, but now the GC is reduced to 3 dudes before any of them have put their face in the wind.

It just confirms the P-N > T-A trend over the last couple of years, even P-N >>> T-A at this point. In the past I enjoyed those races equally, but while Paris-Nice has gotten even better lately (lots of echelons, super close GCs, amazing last stage every year), T-A has unfortunately moved in the other direction IMO.

Yates will need 30 seconds before the last stage ITT - Doubt a seven stage race needs two ITT's.

that's usually not how things work at Sunweb. And to be honest, I'd think it's way too hard for Kragh anyway

I completely agree with that. The years Paris-Nice ended with the Col d'Èze time trial and the strange 2014 edition, I didn't like it that much to be honest, whereas Tirreno was awesome, especially in 2013 and 2014. Then they ruined it, and now it's just a race that sees no action outside the final two kilometres. In opposition to Paris-Nice which tends to be the most entertaining stage race of the season.

He seemed braindead already before the crash.

Upon rewatching it plenty of times, it seems like he actually begins to run when he realises something is wrong. But it's too little too late.

And yeah, how he doesn't look to either side before crossing the road is just inexplicable.

By the way, it seems as if he is alright, so my previous post was a little over-dramatic.
