Jumbo Visma's time is amazing. Beating that Sky's lineup for 40s :surprised: What?!

Perhaps Dumoulin's Sunweb can make things more interesting.... But its Dumoulin, SKA and Arndt against Martin, Roglic and v Emden.

TTTs are always unfair and frequently race killing

Yeah they definitely favor the strong teams, you can't just come to the race with a good GC guy and win it by default with the TTT included. Kind of changes the dynamic and forces teams to really think who they're going to draft for the races.

Dry roads will be an advantage.

Maybe Alaphilippe can take back some time on the punchy finishes and bonis, and the parcourse like this could provide some tactical opportunities, but there's that closing tt, so looking good for Rogla.

Sunweb +15 sec at the finish, Michelton Scott riding very fast though, which is a surprise.

Crazy time by Michelton Scott, who would have thought. Especially give than Yates was mostly in the back so the strong guys were really going for it.

Fantastic performance by MS. A small surprise but then again...their squad is full of TT specialists and Adam Yates.

So, if the individual TT were held tomorrow, one might expect that Dumoulin might be able to get a few seconds on Roglic, and Roglic should take more time than that on Yates . . . maybe. But Roglic at his best may be as good as Dumoulin in a TT . . . so . . . it's set up nicely.

Crazy pedestrians again with one kilometre to go in front of Mitchelton-Scott. Incredibly lucky that they didn't collide with them.

At least the Italians use their crossings...

Yeah it's a three man race, with maybe an outside chance for Alphilippe.
