Tbf guys they don't have racing in either race ATM are Kuss, Harper, Vingegaard and Tolhoek who would all be good climbers. But don't think they really thought WVA can really win this as they'd have given him more help if so.
I don't know why anyone would think he can't possibly win this, after last year's Tour.

That seems like the 'problem' with WvA at LottoJumbo: the guy deserves a full team around him, or better: some DS that believes in his full potential. WvA has never disappointed in any big race where he was asked to try and ride the finale. He skipped winning opportunities in the TdF, a bid for the green jesey, and the classics he won, he did it without too much support of team mates.
All of that doesn't seem to be good enough to e.g. have a guy like Kuss or Oomen or Bennett or whoever prepare to be a super domestique for WvA for this 1-week race.

It’s not like the PN stages have been won by nobodies, the Tour runner up/Vuelta winner and the current top sprinter. All week it’s been stage wins by big stars and... eh... um...Cees Bol
Who said PN stages were won by nobodies? Are you assuming stuff? All of what you said takes nothing away from the fact that Tirreno is more stacked than PN. Which is all I meant to say.
