How so? He was visibly about the 10th-best climber, then the headwind allowed him to come back with the help of Kelderman and the sprint was on a false flat so less about climbing ability.that aged well![]()
Arkea would be proud.Bora 4-5-6, that's not a good leadout.
Roglstomp
I don't think I've ever seen someone win a MTF from the favorites group while mabye being like 20th best. It's of course not the nicest type of MTF, but there is something fascinating about such a headwind climb.
This bunch sprint calls for a finish photo!
Tbh I agree with you that he looked like he was on the limit. Hence why it was so funnyHow so? He was visibly about the 10th-best climber, then the headwind allowed him to come back with the help of Kelderman and the sprint was on a false flat so less about climbing ability.
and the strongest of them had to do all the work for the others. Who is the DS here? Gasparotto?Bora 4-5-6, that's not a good leadout.
I really doubt that, but we'll see.Worre says Roglic won by a wheel length, when he evidently was more than a whole bike length ahead...
Roglič looked in trouble but once they let him arrive at the finish in the group, there could just be one result.
Hoping for a great stage tomorrow.
I really doubt that, but we'll see.
OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS FANTASTICMore like Kirbystomp if you watched what I watched, god this man
He did not show himself at the front until the very end of the stage and I agree he is not at his best at the moment, but 20th best? The ones that attacked barely held on at the end, so I believe it was smart riding from Rogla and in the end he won by a bike and a half, so pretty good.I don't think I've ever seen someone win a MTF from the favorites group while mabye being like 20th best.
