I think he was pretty good on stage 4.
It is indeed very hard, so he could collapse and lose. But the main climb here is like 5 minutes and they do it 3 times, soit's not impossibly hard.
This circuit is easier than the Osimo circuit of 2019.

maybe, yeah. He was quite far back when Alaphilippe attacked, and the laps after had a more steady pace, so hard to say.
I'd think guys like Hindley, Yates, Mas or Landa are still likely to drop him - but they are among those a bit further back on GC. Should certainly be interesting.

A strange Tirreno until now.
Wout, Mathieu, Ala, Girmay, and Pidcock clearly all hold back: they fear to peak too early, AGAIN, and want to peak only for RVV and Roubaix. I think that is smart. Tirreno race quality suffers, of course, but Ronde and Roubaix will be even better.
Primoz gave us joy this week - but he won Tirreno already, in the past, so his results are not too important. But he‘s apparently on a good way to the Giro.

And even back then when in clearly better form, Rogla lost 16'' to Yates on the last climb. He can surely lose more than that today in the last 6 km, and if he doesn't make the top-3, that's an additional 10'' for the winner.

I think the best move by Bahrain may be to have both Caruso and Landa go hard on the Muro. Then the other captains will follow them, and you can then let Caruso launch an attack on the homestretch to the finish afterwards. Then Jumbo has to decide if they want to wait for more doms, or use whatever they have left.
