TvG was already pro but still age wise U23 when riding last year's elite TT worlds (ending 24th). Same for Dominique Cornu in 2007.
You can't compete in the u23 WC if you have a contract with a Pro Tour/World Tour team. That's why Gallopin could ride the u23 WC last year after doing the Vuelta, but Van Garderen couldn't (even if he had had any interest in doing so, which is doubtful).

Yeah, that was ridiculous. The Vuelta as preparation for the U23 Worlds. The French start the Tour de l'Avenir with 12 riders, and they send pros to the U23 Worlds, but still they win neither.

Yeah but I sometimes feel Wiggins has a smarter approach on climbing. Much like Nibali. Ride your own tempo and don't go with attacks you can't follow anyway.

Tony Martin often throws his powers away while he should just 'TT' up the climb instead

I totally agree with this. Stay within your limitations.

This is creepy. Why would you care what he looks like? Even if you are gay, it'd be ridiculous to support an athlete because of their looks.

:confused::confused:

Actually one of the reasons i like Tony is the fact that he's not one of those super skinny riders. I like the big athletic guys. What's wrong with that?:confused:

So skinny guys can't be athletic?

Well I wonder if you saw them up front. Even super skinny Brajkovic when I met him in real life had muscles of steel and twice my legs.
A skinny guy like Gesink can put out 510W at treshold for 30 minutes in test laborities.. that's what most power guys even can't do
