Really don´t know, what is behind the Ineos strategy here..
It would have make perhaps sense to hold the gap close to the breakaway, that there would be more chaos in the climb now, because more riders would like to bridge to the breakaway. But what they are doing now is just doing the work from UAE.

Maybe they hope that Pogi will only follow wheels and allow Carapaz to win the stage if he can drop the rest?
