Does that mean Pogacar attacking on Galibier?
Unfortunately I don't see that happening, but Pogi will do everything he can to win this race. Hopefully we see something like the 2012 Vuelta with Contador and purito....

I'd love to see a finish on Alpe d'Huez via the Col de Sarenne.
Idiots could gather and amuse themselves on the traditional Alpe ascent while real fans watch the race in peace.
I don't understand why so many people want to see Alpe d' huez via the Sarenne. The Sarenne really isn't that hard and I would argue whether it even would be a HC....We had this finish in the Dauphine back in 2017 and nothing happened until they rejoined the last 3km of the traditional side. Now what I would like to see would be Alpe d huez/ Sarenne/ Les Deux Alpes. That could be epic

Alpe d‘Huez today, a big highlight. Pogi has to attack this time, Vingegaard seems stronger. And the old heroes like Nairo, Bardet, Thomas and Froome are back in the game. I expect great racing once again. One question is, how does Pogi come back after yesterday?

Pogacar actually didn't crack too badly imo, he just about kept his loss in a managable margin. I hope he recovers well enough and keeps up the fight today.

His team isn't good enough so he'll have to do it all by himself. Even if Pog is stronger, Vingegaard will have better team support. It's also possible that Pog ends up burrying himself. He's gone deep on the cobbles, he had to go deep yesterday, while Vingegaard has ridden much more wisely and efficiently.

Today is the time for Pogačar not to lose time, he should wait for Mende and the Pyrenean stages to attack as Vingegård should be a bit more tired by then.

As a child, David Gaudu used to simulate the 21 hairpins of Alpe d'Huez by riding around the same corner 21 times.
There is a road leading up to a supermarket near my childhood home, which I dubbed Aldi d'Huez/Al d'Hiez. The pros are not that different from us regular folks.

Good Different.

Pogacar- the time is moving on and the magic is all gone and I don't want to be no second violin.

There are going to be a lot of tired legs out there. Anything is possible, from soft-pedalling and letting the Alpe decide it, to a festival of pajarás akin to Coe 2002. I wouldn't even rule out a Landis but it's a bit early in the race to attempt that.

If I was Cofidis DS I would *** whip my team into TTTing into the break today, and get that stage win already. I don't really understand what exactly they are even doing in this race, not just this year, but generally.
