He might have had a chance for the red number in Paris, though.
Perhaps, but only French riders and/or those who aren't good enough to win stages and/or jerseys should really target that one.
It isn't a break without at least one dane.Van Aert closing a gap to a strong group, now following Politt. Honore has made it a trio in front.
Perfect with Van Aert ahead. Easier to beat him that way than in a bunch sprint.BEX, Trek and Alpecin seem to want the sprint. They're closing the gaps to bigger groups.
I really don't get it either. Wout already has two stage wins, and can go for it again two days next weekend.I give up with Jumbo's tactics, it's not like Jonas was completely isolated yesterday at the when it really mattered.....
Counting on him having to drop back later to help Jonas close a gap to an attacking Pogacar..You wouldn't have thought Pollitt and Honoré would be that delighted to find Wout going up the road with them.
I think the problem for them is less Van Aert and more the absence of other people in this break. This has no chance of succeeding without other people joining in.You wouldn't have thought Pollitt and Honoré would be that delighted to find Wout going up the road with them.
I honestly despair looking at Jumbo's tactics with Wout attacking for no reason and expanding energy for very little gain. It's not like Jonas was completely isolated yesterday when it really mattered.....
I really dont get why they put the mountain stages during the week and wack ass stages ob the weekends. Hotrinle planning.
Having fun.No idea what Van Aert is doing
Protecting his team leader of course. No idea what Van Aert is doing
