Once again, why is everyone waiting until the first group is 1.5 minutes up the road? Huez stage all over again.

Lots of ups and downs today.

Gonna be difficult to bring back a big break back for any team.

Some very tired legs in the peloton. Sick riders. The heat.

I don't think that the sprinters teams will have an easy time to catch any break today, most of them are getting dropped right now

It I were Jonas I would be going mad on the radio. It Jumbo are serious about winning the TDF they need to all be helping him and not attacking for fun. Look at Us Postal and Sky, heck, I remember seeing Cav pulling on flat stages back in 2012. I mean they are up against potentially the greatest rider ever in Pogi. They need to seriously think about getting some new sports directors in...

Van Aert forcing a 3 man breakaway that gets max 2 minutes all day makes sense if they're working for Laporte, other than that not sure.

Teams like Bora, Cofidis, EF, Astana and co should get to the front and drill it to kill the sprinter teams out of competition. I guess the sprinter teams will bottle it anyway. The can't seem to let a break go that's good for them. van aert and Pollit will stop at some point and the it starts all over again.

He seems very humble, and not the type to do that. But yes he should.

Lance won by five minutes almost every year.

In 2005, he finally realised that maybe it wasn't necessary to deny his teammates all freedom and they won two stages (Hincapie and Savoldelli) from breaks.

Don't understand the tactics for Jumbo. WVA is the most important rider for Vingegaard.

Why would you waste any of your precious energy to be a part of a small breakaway? If he is going for the stage win, he could do that without going into a break.

My God Wout, you actually have a chance at winning with Trek probably wanting to drop the real sprinters and then you do this (again).

Jakobsen and Ewan definitely won't survive, maybe Groenewegen does. Philipsen probably will.

Morkov the only one dropped right now.

Damn, imagine if Wout was with Jonas, when Pogacar was behind. They could have done something, at least make Pogacar spend more energy.

But most of the years he won enough stages to compensate for that. 5 stage wins in 2004 plus the TTT, and that is despite gifting one away to Basso.
