This Tour is such an absolute demolition derby I don't think I can remember anything similar. The team of the yellow jersey loses one of its co-leaders and one of the best mountain domestiques in the world and everyone is looking at them thinking, yeah they are fine.

I disagree. It's really only 2 dudes in Jumbo's team and half of Pogs team. Ineos is untouched but they're not trying to win. The racing situation simply makes any other team irrelevant by default.

There have been far bigger demolition derbies.

First 2 climbs are perfect for Van Aert. But I'm still surprised Jumbo are keeping the break in check.

Maybe Jumbo wants to put Pogacar 2 meters under today
