Is this the break of the day?
I'd be interested to know if there are fewer abandons this year than in previous years, even with the tough and exciting first week. So far we're had only 8, from what I can tell.Don't think I've ever seen a race with a field this deep, where even the mid-pack riders are flying, there is so little filler.
Think the racing is a result of this.
