This thing called bonus seconds should not be at the tour. It's ridiculous. The gaps should be the only thing that matters.
Bonus secs are ASO's idea of leading stages into certain scenarios in order to spice things up, but in these years there's really no need, so agree.

Several of the Danish riders getting interviewed at the finish say, that the heat was a huge factor up the last climb.

Gregaard (who is a climber) lost 41 seconds to Cavagna up the climb, and said he simply overcooked because he got no relief in the TT-helmet (dropped from 11th to 19th on the climb).

Asgreen was so overheated that the race doctor attended him when he collapsed after the line.

Yeah, especially Küng but also Cavagna underperformed on the last climb so this is probably a deliberate negative split by WVA. Not that it'll matter in the end, Pog and Vingegaard will smoke him.
