French TV keeps talking about how pale Pogi looks. I think they're expecting him to crack spectacularly on this stage.

Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing him with his shades on, but he does look rather spent without them. I'll be surprised to see much of anything from him today except for surviving... hope I'm wrong.
He looked like someone who hadn't slept for 3 days on Joux Plane but rode brilliantly so I wouldn't take much from that. Not that I expect him to be better than Vingegaard today, mind.

I think pog is a bit ill. I noticed a small wound on his lips (caugh wound) yesterday and thought the same. But he is not a guy that gives excuses
German Eurosport had a bigger discussion on it just some minutes ago. Apparently has the Herpes rash since yesterday. Might harm his performance according to them. That said, still think he did well enough yesterday.

Both his parents are called 'Vingegaard Rasmussen'. Dunno where either name originally came from.

That's become normal in Denmark. Famous footballer Preben Elkjaer actually has the name Preben Elkjaer Larsen, but he dropped the Larsen part. That's typically because the middle names are more "interesting" than (too) common family names such as Hansen, Jensen and Larsen. Normally the middle name is from the mother.

Same goes for politicians by the way - numerous Danish prime ministers from the last couple of decades actually.
