The team rode for him yesterday. I don't think they should do that every time he thinks that he can win.

On Armstrong's podcast, Johan Bruyneel said that Wout rode a KOM (!) on the Còte de Pike on a recon ride the day before Stage One. So Wout was incredibly strong, but he maybe also burned a match for the actual stage.
