Jonas couldn't have hoped for anything better, not even in his best dreams.None put him under pressure, a walk in the park in view of the Galibier where he will arrive fresh and rested with good kilometers of training in his legs
Yup. The Tour de France is over

Nah. If he has it then it doesn't affect him much anyway, such stage. If he doesn't have it then he will crack, eventually. Still, in my opinion today he will need to stretch his legs a bit. We'll see.

UAE doesn't have the team to just chase everything all the time with this team, and other teams are too scared (hello Roglic), so I guess this makes sense. Question is then why other team didn't try to put more and better riders in the break, because this break is just some weak sauce.

So Laurence vs. Vauquelin for the win I guess?

This will probably be the weakest Tour stage win in a while.

What has UAE done so far, beyond nothing?

that's great, nothing sucks as much as automobile car competitions

I could do that too BECAUSE I HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE AND ACTUALLY HAVE WON ALL THE RACES IN GTA SAN ANDREAS TOO
OK I give you that :p
However, if we are to go further down the OT track:
My heart has been divided equally between motorsport history and cycling history for +45 years.
I haven't touched console games since 1978, but have too won historical sim racing series (mods recreating the eras of thick soul in motorsport) and something that can *** my heart is when commentators clearly move outside their field and make sense of something they don't quite know ready facts about.E.g. I think the 3 Danish Esp commentators should just give it full throttle around the Enzo é Dino Ferrari track on their road bikes and then feel in their legs whether it is one of "the flatter courses".

Any thoughts here whether GC pack will wake up at the Montecalvo climb?
Or is it the heat which makes them snore like Garfield in his box?

I mean, it‘s sensible, Red Bull want the race to stay close so it‘s more nervous and Roglic crashes out so when the other favorites are underwhelming, Roglič fans can claim that Roglič is the moral winner.
Quoted for inevitable metaphysical truth

I'd much rather see rogla win this on the road. But I think then the winning GTs morally & retroactively thing would get properly going
