Was Dan Llyod sacked from ES comms ...and replaced with a woman...I know he is watching and following all the races so why leave the comms

But why did they keep Blythe ???
I think he chose to stay with GCN. GCN also lost a few people after their brake up with Discovery.

Jackobson was dreadful at the Giro and now again at the Tour ...has he given up the ghost

And after he made such an effort to come back after that dreadful sprint crash

Bardet is the moral winner here. Done absolutely nothing for it but still gets to keep the jersey. C'mon Visma and UAE, do something, Rogla will if he has to.
They will do something, in a while. 80km attacks on the second stage is not a winner. V-LAB has increased the speed.

GC contenders' teams not sure about their hands in their poker game, today. Maybe some top guys not feeling 100%, a good day to not gamble much. Better to wait for later days.

I wonder if we see this break attack each other soon, because there's enough non-climbers in here that someone like Houle might be able to stay away.

Obviously Visma has to work for Wout and unless they somehow changed Pogi, UAE should be drilling it for Pogi.

For Tour standards this is not a strong break at all. Ofcourse Vauquelin has a lot of talent, same with Laurence, but they're both Tour rookies. Teunissen on this parcours is obviously not a "strong rider". The winner will probably still be a decent name, but that does not mean it's a strong break.
Idk if that was even the point but relative strength of the group does not make the stage more or less interesting but yes it is a strong break, forgot Hugo Houle and Jordan Jegat are there too
