I collapsed and I was just watching it on TV.THJ collapsed after the finish line.
Though, from what I understand, it's not anything life threatening.
I’d argue this is the best he’s looked in 18 months. He’s struggled a lot since the 3x GT year.He has been this level for a while.
2nd coming of comeback-Basso confirmed!Given that he was dropped with about 11K to go, that was a masterclass in tempo riding by Gall. Ended up finishing ahead of THJ , Vauquelin and Rodriguez
I’d genuinely forgot he was in the race until you said thisWhat happened to Matteo?
But he finished half minute behind Rodriguez? Unless you‘re talking about Cristian Rodriguez who I doubt went all-out to the finish.Given that he was dropped with about 11K to go, that was a masterclass in tempo riding by Gall. Ended up finishing ahead of THJ , Vauquelin and Rodriguez
How did they f up the stage? Pogi took more time and didn’t have to work hardly. He doesn’t have to do anything but follow to win the tourBTW UAE **** up todays stage. They did zero work uphill and let the breakaway a bit too much time on flat
Yes. At the same time, he usually peaks a bit (as a domestique) in the last week of the TDF. Today, he was OK, but maybe not as strong as in past years for this type of stage.I’d argue this is the best he’s looked in 18 months. He’s struggled a lot since the 3x GT year.

Hope THJ is ok!

They had a helicopter, could easily have shown a tracking shot of the situation, they have the ability to talk as well and have transponder data we dont. A simple there are this many riders up ahead theyre now approaching this one, so it's not like random rider suddenly appears next to a group of riders chasing. They only have so much motobikes to show everything, and when a group of 30+ riders disintegrates, you simply have too few bikes to show all the little groups chasing each other
Yes, I'm hoping they told him to save his legs today for a big effort on stage 18I’d genuinely forgot he was in the race until you said this
Maybe saving the legs for the longer stages, that or just crocked
When I see VPP in the interview, I feel the urge to donate to a food charity.
Gachignard made it easily in the end, he lost way less than I expected.
That a very important safety steps . . . Helmets can get snagged on the playground climbing equipment like the old monkey bars or the spiderweb thingsMy parents were fervent followers of Darwin
Wouldn’t let me wear a helmet on the playground
According to Søren Reedtz (who I might have called Michael Stærke the other day, I seriously can't tell those bald TV2 guys apart) he's "half the size of a real man."
