Grande Matteo! Vai Vai!

Nobody likes a huge pile-up, but I always enjoy a Pelucchi win. He deserves it.

Because? You like him?
You have a huge dislike for sprinters that can't do anything besides sprinting. Well if anything Pelucchi is one of them :)
But who did he beat? The joint most single dimensional rider in the history of the universe, so that's why he's probably happy
Yes, because I like him. Not about who he beat, but about him being Matteo Pelucchi and winning.

My liking to see him succeed is nothing to do with his specialism or style as a rider and everything to do with his story, quitting the sport to be with Marina, helping her recovery, updating fans and working with the charity etc.. He's a good guy beyond the sport above and beyond just "being a nice guy".

Pelucchi the new sprint king. Defeated Kittle fair and square.

Pelucchi is an idiot. He swung to the right to block/slow Kittel and throw him off his rhythm, then swung way over to the left! It was very clear in the video. He was all over the road and should have been relegated to LAST place!

Watch the replay:

crash happens and he drifts to the left because of that then adjusts direction, comes back to the right onto nizzolos wheel, touches elbows with kittel there, then goes around Nizzolo on the left, Kittel on the right. Touched him for sure but i don't think he swung to the right to block anybody...

To me it looked ok, 2 sprinters fighting for Nizzolo's wheel, you see things like that in every sprint. Lampre on the other hand...

Cuckoo land...one swallow does not a summer make.

Another 20 meters and he would have been 2nd after he flicked the odds on favourite who then was travelling much faster until the realisation it was too late.

Gesink has not started today, he is too tired and will take a rest before going to the races in Canada.

Rather strange to have started here then in the first place, making the journey to Poland only to quit after two stages.

Anyway, that's one contender less for the GC.

I just noticed that there is not one single mass start stage without a lap course. And I also noticed that stage 4 could actually be a stage with a pretty good downhill finish but they decided that they prefer doing a "Foix 2012"

Just watching yesterday's stage. Kirbyisms included: Kittel - not a bad climber could contend for the overall and Kenny Elissonde is a good leadout guy. Oh and when discussing transfers neither of them knew who Txurruka rides for.
