Fuglsang is the highest ranked Dane on CQ, by far. Maybe you don't like him. Maybe he doesn't want to work for Contador. Fine. However, there aren't many better Danes available.

True. However, I don't think Fuglsang would fit well with the Saxo than Riis is imagining. And quite frankly I don't think that he's all that he's cranking himself up to be. Better for Riis to focus on some of the up and coming Danish riders who right now are looking more promising than ever.

Not really. Only Lander is ready to go pro. For Valgren Andersen it is probably still a year too soon. Steensen has had his chance before.

If you talk about CAS and Morkov, I agree they deserve Riis' focus.

Nibs for Astana:

Edit: takes Agnoli and Vanotti with him. All on two-year contracts.

I guess I will have to like Astana now ;) Will be interesting to see if he gonna focus on the Giro ot the Tour (reckon it very much depends on weather they can attract Andy).

I remember readin a while back when Astana talked about Fuglsang that they had their Giro captains sorted but they needed someone for the Tour. Maybe that indicates that Nibs will aim for the Giro next. On the other hand I think I remember Nibs saying he wanted to win all 3 GTs, which would mean focus on the Tour. Oh well, time will tell :D

Kreuziger to Saxo Tinkoff done according to inner ring.

Yeah I saw that but Inner Ring bases it on this article
http://www.marca.com/2012/08/01/ciclismo/1343851354.html
which basically says that the signing of Nibali increases the posibility that Kreuziger will leave and that he has been linked strongly with SBTB (If I understand the article correctly). So as far as I understand there is nothing new in the article in that regard

Edit: hé still needs to win both the Giro and the Tour to dó the trible

difficult to admit but i was proved wrong by nibali these last two years.he really can deliver.so welcome!:)

about roche,it's a very good decision.i prefer a roche destroying the peloton for contador than an anonymous team leader riding for 14th place in the grand tours.i never understood that.look at kreuziger,i hope bjarne will take him too

anyway alberto knows it very well that if he wants to beat froomy,he needs an awesome team.

I wasn't necessarily talking about going pro, just that the upcoming guys show great prospect, and Riis should consider them.

Now I don't know what Fuglsang charges, but I doubt that he'd be worth it in the long run, e.g. Roche is probably cheaper, and with the exception of TT (which Fuglsang is good at, but does not excel in) he'll probably deliver more. Especially under Bjarne.

Yea Nibs will make our ardennes team awesome. And probably the winner of giro 2013!

True that. Got ahead of myself. It makes sense for him focus on the Giro 1st then and that way martinellis statement makes perfect sense. Will be weird to ser him ride against liquigas in the giro. Caveat: am just speculating about his GT focus

To me the CQ ranking is irrelevant. I don't like those who moan so Jakob is one of them and his results on the road doesn't match his whining off the road IMHO.

If he doesn't want to work for Contador is his problem. The work he has done for Andy in the past wasn't remarkable. Better to look for a team whose riders willingly help him in the TdF.

Bak, some youngers or enhanced CAS and Morkov are more suitable to Bjarne right now.
