Good to see Nizzolo continuing at this level. Not sure I've heard of Watson. Sprinter, climber or ?

Don't know. Maybe one of the Australians on here knows something about him.

Dont know him too much but his very impressive 4. place in a very strong field in Giro Del Friuli last year should clearly indicate that Watson has some climbingpotential. And he also looked to be a very strong allround junior back in 2011. This season though he has been fairly invisible after his early win in the Harald Sun Tour.

I dont think he will make a big impression in the World Tour though.
He should be ok, only turned 20 this year and came through the same develpoment program as Gerrans and a few other WT level Aussie boys. Won the Herald Sun Tour this year at 19 against older and more experienced riders.

Typical Aussie - punchy on the short stuff, decent rouleur, strong finish. Don't underestimate him.

What strengths do they bring to the role of domestiques?

They are both quite similar.
They are punchy, good on short climbs, with a good sprint so each can lead Sagan out

Gatto brings the added dimension of being quite good on the cobbles
