Felline renewed with Trek

Alex Kirch to Bora
Pierre Rolland to Tinkoff
Van Garderen To Trek

Remenber just rumors for now

I have also read the article where you get the info from. But you didn't read the article good enough. Rolland isn't heading to Tinkoff. Tinkoff and Rolland couldn't reach an agreement.

Anyone hear rumors on riders Movistar might pick up? Recently I've only seen stuff on who they might lose. I'm thinking they need more mountain doms, particularly with Beñat possibly leaving. Anton and Team Gadret aren't reliable these days, Anacona is hit or miss, and Fernandez and Dayer are still young. Amador is obviously a potential dom for either of their big two but they may want to give him his own chance to lead at GT from the start after his Giro performance this year

How awesome it would be if the Henaos transferred there.

The priority of Movistar should be extending the contracts of the important riders like Malori, the Herrada brothers, Amador, Erviti and the Izagirre brothers. And with all the rumours spreading around that is going to be a hell of a job already for Unzue. Maybe they will sign someone of the South American continent like Carapaz or Aldemar Reyes. Carapaz should be on the radar because he signed his first contract with the Movistar Ecuador team. He has won almost everything this season with the youth in South America and could be the next climbing talent. Reyes you can compare with the new Colombian of Katusha, Restrepo.

The rumour is that both of them are joining Landa and Intxausti at Sky next year.
So that ship might have sailed.

On a related note, with Nieve already performing there, one can wonder how really sad is the demise of Euskaltel.
The potential was there...

Lotto Jumbo signed Steven Lammertink, a time trial specialist, (21 years old,SEG Racing) on a two year contract. They see him as an addition to their sprint train and small stage races.

Twan Castelijns (26 years old, Team Baby Dump) will join them as a stagiar. He is currently leading the Dutch national competition. I'll be surprised if they sign him, he is more Roompot material.

Just confirming the Trek and MTN rumours for Cavendish.

It doesn't seem like a perfect fit to me. Farrar, Bos and Goss can't all be part of the Cavendish sprint train and EBH is only just getting back his mojo. They only just gave these guys, and others like Pauwels and Cummings a comeback, only to throw them back out after one year?

Trek could work:

Beppu, Roulston, Vandewalle, Cancellara, Sergeant, Eisel, Nizzolo, Renshaw, Cav

Either Trek has found a co sponsor, or is significantly raising their budget, otherwise the Cavendish and Van Garderen rumours seem very unlikely. On the other hand Cancellara is close to retirement, that should free up a sizeable chunk of their budget soon

Cummings was always going to be a good signing, and Pauwels was in the breakaway as much as anyone this Tour so not bad. Signing all those other guys was always nonsense though.

Just because Ciolek won big one time doesn't mean that the same will happen when you sign 4 more mediocre sprinters. I would be surprised to hear Farrar, Bos or Goss have a top 5 finish this season.

They should've saved the money and got just 1 very good guy instead.

I hadn't even thought of Ciolek.

Of the MTN lineup, Goss, EBH and Ciolek were all HTC/T-Mobile teammates of Cavendish's, but I imagine most of them would have too much pride at this point to surrender their delusions of grandeur, not least because being in Cavendish's sprint train is no longer the guarantor of success it was when he was up against dudes like Hutarovich and Petacchi.

Oleg Tinkov quotes on Team Sky:

"If I could tell you who they are about to sign for 2016, you’d realise that they’re going to kill the business."

It's not money that is attracting riders now, it's success Oleg. Landa will be earning less than he was offered by Astana and Movistar.

That's a brilliant. If you were in any other sport majority would be saying bravo you would rather be successful and win, than taking a bigger pay cheque. Only someone as rich as Oleg could basically say I can't believe it's not all about money anymore. Can't tell if Oleg respects they way they plan or is annoyed by it

^ I was about to post that line from Oleg's latest PR fluff. Everyone seems to know about Landa, and I assumed he's talking about Sagan.

Seems most of Sky's transfers for 2016 are out now.

Peters, Moscon, Geoghegan-Hart, Kwiatkowski, Golas, Landa, Intxausti, J.Izagirre, G.Izagirre

Lots of movement at Sky this year because this requires 7 riders to leave.

I'm surprised by these speculations about TVG who's suppose to have a contract for one more year at one of the richest team in the cycling world. The only explanation is that Trek is drastically increasing their budget or TVG doesn't have a contract for next season.Trek might be a good choice for Cav because MTN currently is stacked with sprinters.

I guess maybe 1/2 of Lopez, Nieve and Zandio will leave.

Skystar with all those ex-Movistar riders.
