This is a handy list from PCS which shows the riders who are still without a contract for 2016: http://www.procyclingstats.com/statistics.php?statistic=contract_free_riders

Is Van Avermaet definitely staying at BMC? Dani Moreno is probably the best rider left on the market who we don't really know which team he will join. Lampre has been rumoured.

Dimitri Claeys will surely get a contract. Only just got on a professional team again and he's in the top five Europe Tour rankings I believe.

Several riders on this list who've already announced new contracts.

Würtz certainly haven't been short on offers. However, pretty much everyone seems to agree that he shouldn't get on a WT team just for the purpose of getting on a WT team.

And Dani Moreno started following Lampre on Twitter. Thanks to @bambula for letting us know.

Simon Clarke to Cannondale!

Their signings for 2016 are better, than I expected! Maybe they've managed to increase their budget somehow? I think their new riders will be earning more alltogether, than Martin and Hesjedal were.

Clarke is not a bad signing and maybe he can get more opportunities to ride for himself whereas at OGE; he was further down the list of riders whose attributes were either similar or had significant cross-over (Gerrans, Albasini, Impey, to a degree Matthews). Arguably he was a better climber, albeit not to the level of being specialist, and maybe packing as strong a sprint.

This only appears to be a one year deal so it will be interesting how this will play out for him.

Danielson was probably on pay that reflected his past centrality to the team, so there may be a fair bit of money saved there.

Is it just me or does Cannondale look a little...scattered for 2016?
