Trek claims they have a 35% chance in signing Cav.Moviefan1203 said:webvan said:Any news for Trek? I think they will throw a bone at Cavendish, and if that doesn't work wait until next year and go all in to get Van Garderen.

He's now a Sky tempo-setter but he has won WT sprints, beat Kittel and Degenkolb to win a GT sprint, and won one-day races including KBK. if nothing else he would be an experienced teammate for a younger sprinter like Hofland.
I guess it's just what people in general would do, because he doesn't bring in results and you don't hear about him being a road captain either. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised either, to me he doesn't seem to add anything to the squad, in contrast for example to Eisel, who is very important for positioning his leaders and being road captain.TMP402 said:Chris Sutton is often said to be leaving Sky but no-one says where to, which I find odd. I don't quite get the connection. Flakemore and Dennis are also there...
Clarke is the only friend Evans had in the peloton. They used to always train together in Italy where they both lived. Every summer I expected BMC to sign him but it never happened. And now it looks likely.
Thanks, although now I must ask: why wasn't Evans liked?
