He made it a quote so it separates ******bag LA's tweet from your comment about the 5 jerseys. To help me I guess...

Damn, that sucks... then who will be the winner??? Rogers? Rich? Cancellara?

1 Tyler Hamilton (USA) 57.31.74 (50.062 km/h)
2 Viatcheslav Ekimov (Russia) 0.18.84
3 Bobby Julich (USA) 0.26.45
4 Michael Rogers (Australia) 0.29.93
5 Michael Rich (Germany) 0.37.72
6 Alexandre Vinokourov (Kazakhstan) 1.26.40
7 Jan Ullrich (Germany) 1.30.30
8 Santiago Botero Echeverri (Colombia) 1.33.02
9 Igor Gonzalez De Galdeano (Spain) 1.55.51
10 Fabian Cancellara (Switzerland) 2.10.64

Hmmm, this is interesting. Julich was a Riis rider then and according to Jörg Jaksche they were all on the juice. Rogers was a client of Cecchini ATT and is alleged to have gone to Freiburg with Klöden and co. for a blood transfusion in 2006. Vino is a given, Ullrich with his links to Fuentes, Botero, even though he was with T-Mobile ATT, rode for Kelme and was named in the Puerto case. Igor González de Galdeano was a Manolo Saiz rider, and Spartacus was AFAIK was a Ferrari client, along with everybody at Fassa Bortolo.

Michael Rich the winner then?

I put a quote section around the tweet to make it obvious which was the dumb tweet and which was your insightful yellow jersey comment

One would hope that that more mainstream press will realize that Tyler and Floyd have a lot, and have, to lose from this - no 'book deal' will make for this - glad that Juliet Macur and Bonnie Ford have been on this since day one - inevitable NYT article will raise some eyebrows. Wonderboy missed Oprah's last show, too, so don't know what he'll do now...

I think she'd come out of retirement for that.

Today I was out on a training ride alone, sneaking off away from the group only to be called so many times on this news story I ended up cutting the ride short to get back and see for myself what was truly going on.

I'll always remember this day and where I was when I got the calls :D

Funny how this day ties up a series of dates between a few riding friends, one being in July of '95 when we all found out Lance exited the Tour early due to cancer, it was the main conversation of the ride. Then, late Sept. 2008, we discussed the shocking news of Lance's 4th at la Vuelta, all of us in total disbelief! Then the tour wins, we shook our heads and could not believe what we would hear around us, everyone called us haters or worse. Floyd came along and it was the S.O.S. as with any ex-teammate, except he stepped off the wagon so to speak and now we get Tyler.

And for those that keep using the non-failed testing results, how many tests did the Festina team fail in '98? Oh yea one, the border crossing test.

Big surprise:rolleyes: So lance doped during that doping free for all period like everyone else. We already knew that.

Nevertheless, it sounds like the way Tyler painted the picture it wasn't lance organizing a doping ring and so I don't see how this is going to help get any serious conviction.

Anyways here we just have another not so credible person using his word against lance. Whether it is true or not, doesn't really matter, the point is what is this going to lead to? What exactly is this going to get lance convicted for?

Good for Tyler, just looking from the portion of the interview that's been shown, it seems to be hard to say all this.
It's gonna take a while for all this to heal, but it's gotta happen.

Excellent summary. You could add the shock of LA trashing Ulle in the 2000 tour, even in the ITT. I guess we got used to the abnormality over the years, so it's good to remember these moments of disbelief.

Who's next, George? Tougher for him of course, but then it's still better thant getting caught lying to a Grand Jury.

A good time to reread Hincapie and Hamilton Could Change Armstrong Investigation ?

Do you have access to more than just the teaser clip of the 60 minutes episode? Unless you do I don't know how you can assess what the picture looks like.

If I didn't know better I'd think he was lying. Look how nervous and uncomfortable he is. Like he actually needs to pause and think about whether or not Lance used EPO in 99.

Puleez... you think the entire interview has been arranged and he still hasn't decided if he saw Armstrong doping until that time? He's recently finished 6 hours in front of the grand jury. Anything he's being asked during the interview would have been asked in front of the gj also, and I'll bet everything I have that he has no interest in going to jail for gj perjury. Do you think he's going to answer questions one way for gj, then give different answers to 60 minutes?

He's hestiating because he knows that once he says it on camera there's no turning back. It's a monumental leap of faith off the edge of a very high precipice. I'd hesitate too before saying it.

All I'm saying is that to the casual observer (those who do not follow cycling and LA that closely) it will look like he's lying through his teeth.
