I tend to agree. I doubt he even knows much about his later years, or have anything interesting to say (from a doping perspective) about his time at Leopard.

I'd be far more interested in hearing about the Ferrari empire.

But we are talking about omerta followers for decades here, I think they have more respect for the system than to simply have a go at everyone.

I still wonder whether Bruyneel's "I know everything" comment is directed at Lance. Maybe Johan wants him some Lance-Geld.

What could Bruyeel possibly know about the Garmin team that would hurt JV or the riders? Bruyneel is the furthest thing possible from being a Garmin 'insider.'

He knows their past, in many cases. He's maybe calculating he can leak stories so bad even JV's damascene conversion can't make up for them, undermining the Garmin Sharp sponsorship. I suspect he's wrong in that; I think they're probably ready, no matter what. I suspect they have been, one way or another, since JV spoke to Landis. but time will tell.

If Hesedal was doping at postal, then Brunyeel must have known about it, if so would he out his confession?

Only if he doesn't incriminate himself while doing so, or if has finally understood that there is no way USADA will lose the case, and he feels free to burn the house down once and for all.

Bruyneel's first TV interview in 13 months: "I'm pretty much done with cycling". It's him who rejected the sport, not the other way around :D

- No future plans besides writing a book under the working title "Pokerface"
- Says Brian Cookson is the right man and has good intentions, but "cycling cannot be fixed overnight"
- Says him and Lance are being singled out and made the sole responsibles of a general problem

Lance says he has been singled out, and Johan says he and Lance have been singled out. Lance doesn't want Johan in the spotlight with him. It is his spotlight.

Lance can still give evidence in the hearing against Johan. Tell it all and get the sanction reduced. Then he can cash in on the triathlon training plans he ordered from Ferrari in July 2010.

Is Bruyneel writing a book or bluffing to put the scares on people?

Unless Bruyneel writes the whole truth and nothing but the truth he can forget having any sales of his book.

Hopefully his publisher will have told him that all or nothing.

Think he's planning to star in the movie of his own book. Is he going for the Depp look?

"Regardless of the outcome of the USADA investigation or any charges against me, I’ve made the decision that I’m pretty much done with cycling because I don’t see a change,”

So, he thinks the situation is the same? That Froome and the other Chris are winning because they play by the same rules as his pal Lance?

It is the same. The federation is still picking winners. Sky made ASO and probably UCI aparatchiks good money. Not only is there a Grand Departe in 2014, but a UK WorldTour race suddenly appearing on the calendar in 2015. See the Sky thread.

The other Chris has a good program that will never test positive and he knows it.

"Boo hoo, everyone's against us", cry me a river. I'd say they kinda singled themselves out by doping to massive levels and then going on to win the biggest race in the world for 7 years in a row (couldn't even stick with 6, just to break the record, had to be 7).

Good riddance to Johan IMO.

And what is the truth? tell us the truth. If Bruynnel say something you dont like wont be the truth for you, I think.

He is the only person, if I have understand well his interview that I have read tell today there are not a lot of changes, nor Lance, nor Hamilton,.. any people, he is the only one... but, why to trust someone like him?

Oh really! Plenty can verify whether Bruyneel lies or not.

Why trust anyone in the sport of cycling?

His only reason for fighting the USADA is to buy time. Why do that? He can extract hush money from a few folks that don't want direct corroboration of their involvement. He knows he's done so it's time for one more cash out. Slimeball start to finish.

Bruyneel is a pathetic loser. He walked around for years thinking Armstrong's success had something to do with his actions, when all he did was let dopers dope and consult their physicians...that was his "tactical genius." Now, he is telling himself that HE is done with cycling...still pretending he's in control.

Bruyneel The Fiction Writer

I would buy Bruyneel's book in case I run out of toilet paper. But I still have 1/2 of Its Not About the Bike available.

What about Bruyneel's classic,

We Might As Well Win: On the Road to Success with the Mastermind Behind Eight Tour de France Victories

I saw it at the 99-Cent Store.
