So let´s preview:

Giro:
Nibali for Astana
Kreuziger for Saxo
Basso for Cannondale
Scarponi for Lampre

Tour:
Wiggins and Froome
Contador and maybe Kreuziger for Saxo
Fuglsang and/or Nibali for Astana
Rodriguez
Evans
Basso
Hesjedal
De Gendt
Valverde
Menchov
Klöden
Schlecks
Papa Horner
Capecchi
Van Gerderen
Rolland
Pinot
Sammy Sanchez

Vuelta:
Tour or/and Giro failers + Giro successors who skip Tour
Menchov

Interesting season for Capecchi: comes of age, is Italian, joined Spanish team, could prepare for (co)captain role at Tour. So everything possible, Giro/Tour/Vuelta.

Don´t know what Nibali is waiting for. Why focus on Giro? Wiggins doesn´t get any younger, but Froome gets even stronger. If he wants to win the Tour one day, he has to start/continue 2013.

to the bolded: now that Nibali is confirmed for Giro it's unlikely that he will ride the tour, he'll probably do the vuelta to prepare for worlds in Italy.

Also Hesjedal should be on the Giro list, he might do the tour also but the Giro will be his main goal.

Rodriguez also I thought was confirmed to ride the Giro? Why are people saying he will do the tour now?

To the underlined: I think Nibali would rather in the Giro at this point, he was 3rd in 2010, and then 3rd again in 2011, and he couldn't ride it in 2012 because Basso wanted to ride it. He probably wants to come back and get on the top step of the podium.

Edit: Purito will be doing the the giro, confirmed by Eshnar here

The Giro is shaping up as a good race. I was expecting Rodriguez to do the Tour but with he, Wiggins, Ryder, Nibali, Sanchez,Scarponi,Basso,De Gendt, amongst others, the field is looking much stronger. Would be good to see VDB do the Giro as well as Evans but they will do the Tour. Sets the Tour up as a good battle in the mountains with Contador, Froome and Schleck hopefully. Be good to see Evans, Valverde, TJVG and VDB also turn up in good form. Rolland and Pinot maybe also on the improve.

Who knows, with the Scarponi-Ferrari case unravelling, Nibali might just have won the Giro already ;)

That sounds like one of those ryo hazuki - this is what will happen because i say it will happen, facts.
Care to provide a source for him saying he will definitely ride the tour ?
He doesn't like the course for next year's Giro, I guess it's a excuse not to ride it, he wants to be in the Tour.

Contador and maybe Kreuziger(will not ride the tour after the fiasco a giro tour double was in 2011) for Saxo
Fuglsang and/or Nibali(will ride the vuelta to prepare for the worlds in italy because he isn't an idiot) for Astana
Rodriguez(already confirmed to gazzetta and it has been posted by eshnar that he will ride the giro instead of the tour)
Evans
Basso(already said he would focus on the giro once again)
Hesjedal(will be there to defend his giro tittle)
De Gendt
Valverde
Menchov(old and irrelevant)
Klöden(old and irrelevant)
Schlecks
Papa Horner(old and irrelevant)
Capecchi(lol an italian riding a tour for movistar . . . . not even you believe that)
Van Gerderen
Rolland
Pinot
Sammy Sanchez

That's what he said 2 weeks ago and its hardly conclusive. Last week he said he will do giro and what worlds is his main aim.

Am I scare that will happen? Ha ha, I want this to happen, do you care to read other members' posts properly?

And now some random poster says that he's going, then it's official? LOL. :D
Provide the Gazzetta link, that's what you need to do.

You're scared that he will do the tour and keep posting as if he's decided. Eshnar is not a random.poster but the resident authority on all giro matters.

another shown down between Nibali and Wiggins, did not expect it come so soon. It will be interesting to see how Wiggins race with less support.;)

Less support being rather relative here...only one sure to be missing would be Froome and how many km's did Froomey lead out for him in the TDF actually leaving Wiggo do some chasing himself at least three times because he was shot?

Uran and Henao combined could likely fill in that gap. Poor Nibs, not going to be winning the Giro for another year ;-)

Sky have the depth to field a strong team. If Rogers and Porte don't go they will have the Colombians plus other high quality riders. I would not be writing off last year's Giro winner but I think Wiggins is the one to beat. Nibali or Rodriguez for the other podium spot.

Nibali interviewed by Gazzetta (loosely translated by me, I ignored some paragraphs):

I: "When/where will you start the new season?"
N: "Like in 2010 and 2012, at the Tour De San Luis. Giovanni Lombardi made a great work as organiser and now that is a high level race."

I: "Will the Giro be your main goal?"
N: "yes, I like the route, and we'll see who'll be my opponents. Btw I saw Froome: he's a whole different person, he must have 6-7 kg more on him." [totally unnecessary shot by Nibbles :D ]

I: "Should we call Astana as the third Pro Tour Italian team?"
N: "Why not the first? We are 10 Italian riders, plus many others in the staff. There's also Fabio Aru who did very well as a stagist. I think he's very talented."

I: "Who'll make your [training] program?"
N: "I have enough experience to make it on my own."
I: "That's impossible, you need specific competences..."
N: "Initially I'll rely on the team, and on Martinelli's advices, and then we'll see."

I: "How are you relations with Vino?"
N: "Very good. He even invited me at his career-ending party in Monaco. All the cycling world was there, and this says a lot. The 2010 LBL? He didn't just win it. He smashed it. It's a pity that in this world you need little to make a huge turmoil."

I: "What's your thought about Armstrong's case?"
N: "To me he's still Lance, the one who won 7 Tdfs."

I: "G.Ferretti, your first DS, once said that your are one og the greats, but you lack something to become the greatest. What is it?"
N: "Luck. I don't ask too much of it but I need just that bit that changes the outcome. The bit that transforms a defeat in a victory."
