as expected. Nibali is strong, calm and calculated. Bravo to Angoli, come from the back of group, pull the life out of him. Still a little worried, where were his other teammates in the high mountain?

I'll think you'll find that it's normal not to have 58 teammates at the end of a mountain stage.

Sky are the ones who seem to be able to have 6 guys at the end.

Our boy is looking Good!!!! Darn gear issues, but he overcomes everything with calm :)

The lack of team support is worrisome to put it mildly :( But Lo Sqaulo is riding like a Winner :)

Nibali sure is super strong now, he get ahead Evans for the bonus when we all know Evans is really good at final punchy dig

Nibali literally did everything right today. The way he recovered from his chain drop was brilliant. I feel if Astana can at least get one of their main climbers back into shape that he should be a lot more comfortable. I also feel that Cadel was right on the edge today while Vincenzo still has a little left in the tank.

Yep Nibali pip Evans on the line already says a lot usually it is the other way around. If Angoli did not come through, situation for Nibali is quite dangerous, he would be open for many attacks.

Yes, we don't need much. One more climber would make us feel comfortable and confident.:)

Indeed looking Very Strong :) Loved it when he fixed his gear, wound it up and flew to the front. Cadel didn't see that coming.

Looking like Cadel might be his biggest opponent

So far this year Nibs has taken on Froome and won, Wiggins and won and now this showing. His confidence is Sky (pun) High, his form stellar, plus he is Fearless!

There was a lot left in the tank. If Nibali keeps his form he will easily win the Giro. Even without team support. Based on the last few days Uran seems to be the only one who can match him. And if Nibali has a bad off day, maybe Cadel...

The rest of them are gone.

Yep. looking super strong indeed. very calm and relaxed and overcame the mechanical issues quite easily.
Good thing, that Wiggins can't attack. Astana will have to control Uran, cadel won't attack, but Nibbles needs to put some few seconds more in to him, just in case he has a bad MTT.

Cadel doesn't like the ultra steep stuff so Nibbles should be able to pick up some more time on him somewhere. Astana should take it really easy tomorrow and let the break have as large a gap as possible

Nibali looked like he was in total control of the situation today. Nothing could happen. Hard to see anyone taking il Giro away from him.

now 2 or 3 'rest' days for his team which gives some guys time to recover from sickness and be well prepared for Saturday.

I could watch the last climb but i am glad to read this

downloading the stage at this very moment

I just hope he keeps it together for 3 weeks

there is a moment you will be worried, he was isolated a little too early, luckily or just by pure will Angoli (mind my spelling) pulled through

WOW- my man Nibbs climbing like ain't no gradient to fear at all :D and what to say about those "mechanical skills" when needed the most!!:D
God- he looks so ready to add the Rosa title to the Red!!!:)

yep, Wiggins probably will get off the bike to fix it, or just throw his bike away waiting for the team car:D

Nibali will win this Giro if the only remaining threat at this point, Uran, doesn't out-climb him as today on each of the remaining mountain stages and mountain TT.

Though it must be recognized that Nibali wasn't in a position to attack from 8k out as was one who in fact had over 2 minutes to recover. In other circumstances I doubt the Columbian can make such a difference. We shall see.

Well expected, he delivered!

You sure are one of the worst fanboys I've ever seen.

He is a fake one:D, he picked up Gesink in " after one week, who will win Giro" thread, or he is like La Floriecita trying to set the bar low to not get disappointed:D
