Kittel admitted to having his blood drawn and later reinfused -- the so-called ozone therapy. Rather less evidence than actual proof of doping, no?
Once, when I was younger, I ran a red light in my father's car. I got caught, got a ticket, confessed to my father, had a conversation about it. To date, I never did it again.
At the time Kittel underwent ozone therapy, he was 19 and the procedure was not banned. Moreover, the therapy was prescribed by a doctor working for the German, government backed, Olympic support point in Erfurt.
I don't think that's enough to condemn someone for the rest of his career.
That said, I don't know if Kittel is clean, I certainly wouldn't take a bet on it. However, I don't think the ozone therapy counts as evidence against him being clean.
