sorry but i don't agree with both of you.any climb steeper than 8 % is too much for vino.and that since '99.and il giro has plenty of them.if in this year's giro instead of zoncolan and mortirolo we would had a flat 50 km ITT or some climbs with an average of 6-7 %(like in le tour) vino could won it.but like that no chance.if le tour in 2011 will have at least 80 km of flat ITT and lots of alpine stages and less pyreneean stages,vino will have at least a shot at the podium.

The Tour of Hainan is a Chinese race that has become one of the highest-leveled, largest-scaled international highway cycling races in the world.

The race ranks intercontinental 2.1 grades; the route includes all types of road races, like flat roads, hills, mountains and others, with a total mileage of more than 1000 kilometers.

The race will take place form 11th to 19th october 2010 and the departure will be in Sanya, the second largest city of Hainan province.

MY COMMENTS: No Commentary Required, though one can imagine that CAS saw the previous image of VINO attacking underwater and decided that discretion was the better part of valor.

NEVERTHELESS, How it is that VINO is VINO and all others are pretenders, using the case of Danilo "Wannabe Killer" Di Luca as an example:

Lastly, during the 2007 Tour VINO was tragically misquoted:

"I am happy with my performance, I am finding my legs again. Now I want to attack in the Pyrénées."

should actually have read:
