Nobody knows. There is nothing to be found in the UCI rules. Giving out the full amount of points would be weird, taking away all the points would be unfair too as teams and riders have not been able to race, and the fact that there was still a race. Ok it looks like a complete meme, but it was still a decent field going all out and the best won.

I don't expect the UCI to hand out the full points tho. I hope it will atleast be 1.1 points or halved or something and not just the 20 points for the stage. Cause the last thing would be weird. Either you see it as a one day race (.1 or .pro) and you give out 125 or 200 points, or you see it as a stage race (which according to their own rules isn't really possible as it has to have 2 days at least) and then the winner should get 20 + GC points.

probably so... on the one hand it seems strange to get that many points for a 5km effort, OTOH MSR gives even more points for only about 9 km of racing.

Just read that after the cancellation Lotto decided to line up van Gils also for the Tour des Alpes Maritimes, starting today.

Because of his stage win, he missed his flight to France, though.

Considering you've made a few of these comments this week, you are not able to see on pictures when somebody is "heavier" than in another picture? Just as a test, are you able to see the difference here, or would that be impossible for you?
