Yes i believe they did, there was a 5 seconds replay of him crossing the line... about 10 minutes after he crossed the line.the TV directors managed to not show the winner once, not even at the finish. Great stuf
He is Simon Spilak for farmersVan Gils is now a favorite for other one week stage races.
Jay Vine likes thisShould have moved the race to Zwift. Never seen an angry farmer in Watopia!
Does van gils still get the same number of UCI points? How about prize money?
probably so... on the one hand it seems strange to get that many points for a 5km effort, OTOH MSR gives even more points for only about 9 km of racing.A one-day race of the same ranking would make the most sense. So same points as in Kuurne.
Looking at those three faces, I would not pick the one on the right to be the most likely to kill a cat for fun...

If I were Ayuso I might take offense to this statementLooking at those three faces, I would not pick the one on the right to be the most likely to kill a cat for fun...
Quite ironic for the farmers protesting about their jobs but potentially costing others their lives and careersI feel for the organisers who will lose a bucketful of cash - I hope the race is fine for 2025.
Considering you've made a few of these comments this week, you are not able to see on pictures when somebody is "heavier" than in another picture? Just as a test, are you able to see the difference here, or would that be impossible for you?Your eyes can often deceive you. Only Remco's weight is clearly visible in such pictures (allegedly).
Is that Remco in ITT shape on the left?Considering you've made a few of these comments this week, you are not able to see on pictures when somebody is "heavier" than in another picture? Just as a test, are you able to see the difference here, or would that be impossible for you?
