Any contenders for the red jersey in the break? It seems Gotzon Martín is at 3:59.
Seems pretty strange that no one else is interested in a stage where they know Jumbo wont chase.

I haven't really followed the first week so far because I've been on a holiday this past week (in Spain of all places) but looking at how things have gone so far I'm a little bit disappointed. Roglic doesn't look unbeatable yet but he seems to have no proper opposition. Landa and Bernal have looked way worse than I hoped, so did their respective teams and while Movistar has been looking decent I don't trust any of their leaders to bring the fight to Roglic. Hoping for stages like today's to cause some chaos cause otherwise I feel like the outcome of this Vuelta is pretty clear already.

Jumbo poor, their best riders looking tired with the red jersey constantly isolated.

You know it's strange, since I heard Dave Brailsford banging on about this 'new exciting racing style' last year, I don't think I've seen his riders, bar maybe Carapaz, have a single long range crack, despite having about 4 leaders in every race they enter.

It's almost like he's just a complete corporate PR fraud who was given a blank cheque.

Other than saving himself as much as possible on Pícon Blanco, how hasn't Roglič looked unbeatable (if you think it was possible for him to look like that)?

They look like they have 5 riders in that group. Two around Roglic and two towards the last third.
