One day it's Vingegaard the evil backstabber. The next it's Vingegaard the generous helper.

I dunno why people decided that Vingegaard was better than Roglic.Roglic: "I have my own thoughts about it."
Clearly not entirely happy with this. But I guess he prefers Sepp winning than Jonas. And he probably knows that if he rode for it, Jonas would win. There was no way for this to end well for him so helping Kuss was probably the lesser of two evils (okay, evils is probably an exaggeration but you know what I mean).
It is worth also noting... these were previous pros, almost all of whom being American or working for American or American-owned media companies.
The agenda has been blatant. Just look at how many people have started calling him Sepp rather than Kuss for the first time in their lives in the past few days.It is worth also noting... these were previous pros, almost all of whom being American or working for American or American-owned media companies.
Yeah, Chris Horner was such a dumb rider, and needless to say Bruyneel had plenty of problems of his own. It's sometimes fun to listen to them, but of course they're giant hypocrites."You always ride for your leader".
So who was your leader?
"Lance Armstrong".
That's directed @ Chris Horner, Johan Bruyneel & a few others who were very quick to judge Jumbo over the past two days, i.e. people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones would be an appropriate response in this instance.
Chris Horner also towed rival team rider Tejay van Garderen up Alpe d'Huez in the 2010 Dauphiné when his own teammate was in yellow, to try to get a fellow American on the podium. So I don't think he's likely to be the most objective commenter here."You always ride for your leader".

Kuss needs a bit more of that dawg in him.
Like, "Yeah, I pulled these two through two Grand Tours, so I told them I'm the captain now."
Also, anyone who says "I dedicate my victory..." gets an automatic kick in the groin. No questions asked.
Yeah, well, Hinault was a very special kind of a**hole for sure. I don't think Vingegaard needs to worry about Kuss riding against him in any race Vingegaard cares about....and the following year the Badger did his best to ambush Greg, divide the team all in the guise of testing his character?
You forgot Remco who should be ashamed of winning out of a Mickey Mouse break!Well, I think literally everybody involved should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves for that pathetic show.
Maybe Kuss shouldn't be ashamed of himself, but he should be embarrassed that such a pathetic show of passivity is the only reason he's winning a Grand Tour.
The Jumbo team brass should be ashamed of themselves for letting Twitter decide their strategy for them because they're so scared of negative PR that they can be bullied into doing whatever a bunch of people who follow Jonathan Vaughters unironically want.
Jonas and Primož should be ashamed of themselves for being so weak they accept such instructions and perform their act so transparently fakely.
Movistar, UAE and Bahrain should all be ashamed of themselves for being so caught up in battling over minor places that they did Jumbo's work for them half the day, sitting in idle passivity and letting this absolute dog and pony show take place, while then taking up the pace on the last climb to avoid Jumbo having to make any decisions.
The race organisers should all be ashamed of themselves for allowing a third significant stage to be neutralised.
This is funny, but hey Ya gotta respect authenticityBob Roll isn't superficial, he's an actual f**king moron.
I'd put my name to that recommendation.Use of an armchair is recommended

Did he really say this? If so, this is a terrible look for Roglic.
Yeah, Roglic was already in a lost position.Roglic: "I have my own thoughts about it."

Dang. Turns out Powless is nicer than Kuss after all.Bus. Thrown under.
It happened last year. LOLHistorically speaking it is pretty grating that two bound-to-be legendary riders don't get to win this Vuelta.
That being said, this kind of stuff happens in one-day races all the time. Just odd to see it happen in a GT.
I have no problem with Remco going out there and animating the race once his GC bid failed. He's recovering a strong race out of it with stage wins and the GPM in the same way as people like Simon Yates and Nairo Quintana in the 2019 Tour, Richard Carapaz in the 2020 Tour or Mikel Landa in the 2017 Giro. Isn't that exactly what we want quality climbers who've dropped out of the GC mix to be doing? You forgot Remco who should be ashamed of winning out of a Mickey Mouse break!
Remco is too small for the tablecloth, too big for the napkin... as they say. He's too good for these breakaways because there aren't any proper contenders in them.
He should. A small shunt in the TdF followed by an adversarial attack means someone has to cover JV's interests. How that turns out...ask Roglic after the hay bale shunt.Yeah, well, Hinault was a very special kind of a**hole for sure.
