Chris Horner also towed rival team rider Tejay van Garderen up Alpe d'Huez in the 2010 Dauphiné when his own teammate was in yellow, to try to get a fellow American on the podium. So I don't think he's likely to be the most objective commenter here.

Maybe Kuss shouldn't be ashamed of himself, but he should be embarrassed that such a pathetic show of passivity is the only reason he's winning a Grand Tour.

The Jumbo team brass should be ashamed of themselves for letting Twitter decide their strategy for them because they're so scared of negative PR that they can be bullied into doing whatever a bunch of people who follow Jonathan Vaughters unironically want.

Jonas and Primož should be ashamed of themselves for being so weak they accept such instructions and perform their act so transparently fakely.

Movistar, UAE and Bahrain should all be ashamed of themselves for being so caught up in battling over minor places that they did Jumbo's work for them half the day, sitting in idle passivity and letting this absolute dog and pony show take place, while then taking up the pace on the last climb to avoid Jumbo having to make any decisions.

The race organisers should all be ashamed of themselves for allowing a third significant stage to be neutralised.

You forgot Remco who should be ashamed of winning out of a Mickey Mouse break!

I think they were promised they were allowed to race for it and then Bejes happened and suddenly Roglic was basically in a lost position to Vingegaard without even having a chance to race against him.

I have no problem with Remco going out there and animating the race once his GC bid failed. He's recovering a strong race out of it with stage wins and the GPM in the same way as people like Simon Yates and Nairo Quintana in the 2019 Tour, Richard Carapaz in the 2020 Tour or Mikel Landa in the 2017 Giro. Isn't that exactly what we want quality climbers who've dropped out of the GC mix to be doing?

He's one of the only people that comes out of the absolute joke that today's stage who can hold his head high, it's only the annoying drama that follows his every move because his disciples and detractors are lodged in a protracted war of attrition that could cause anybody to disagree with that imo.
