Pedersen is a terrible rider rmay times. Why is he going alone? It's better for him to wait and have more breakaway partners to do the work with. And then attack when there are a few kilometers left.

Going alone isn't always a breakaway rider's wish. In fact, in the first half of a stage no one voluntarily chooses to go in a solo break.

A break has to be established first and this part of the route suits him better than what's to come.

I'm pleased to see Ayuso so persistent in the breakaway. Yesterday he seemed so exhausted for pulling 30 seconds that I feared he'd retire from the race :tearsofjoy:

Riders cpa need to have discussions with organisers about removing Visma from the race. Then we might get a good break
