There isn't a bridge? They have to be transported across in little boats? Swim?
Oh... I (think) I see! A bridge can be kinda open, making riding a bike across it quite difficult if it's stormy.

I imagine Luke Rowe won't be a big fan of that kind of stage

I wonder how Majka will manage to lose tomorrow victory? Normally only Anacona seems to be good enough rival.

There will be a rest day first, I think Sevilla will be the main rival for Majka. Sepulveda could have been good as well but he is out of the GC now unfortunately :(

Ups, you are right

A rest day in a 7 stage race? Does this happen anywhere else? I'm guessing it is a concession to the early season status, allowing it to be thought of training with an edge rather than a race. Would the same reason apply to the Mallorcan races being 4 one-dayers rather than a 4-stage race?

2017:

Tour of China I: stage, rest day, stage, rest day, two stages, rest day, stage.

Tour of China II: four stages, rest day, stage.

Wow! Thanks, I had missed that. Crazy scheduling: were there huge transfers (did they really tour China?) or just end of season laid back?
