Thanks dude, 1760 euro with 25% discount (2350 euro regular) I think that some average European price is somewhere about 2100e?

Yeah, something like that, depends of the set-up :)

And they indeed are very alike except for the seat stays :p that's the reason I like the Stevens more =)

Dude I hate you, if I knew for Stevens I would go for it:D

P.S. Thanks God there is no Stevens for miles around here, so I will not be in temptation to swap bikes.
Yes that seat stays are genuine:cool:

I cut it and ride it to grocery store for 5 minutes. That is all what I have done with my TT bike. It will wait for better times to come:(
Thanks!

I am working for an airline so my friend in the paint shop sprayed it for me.I sourced the paint and decals from the local car shops.I have ridden the frame for a yr already. No issues so far except that it is difficult to source a rear brake. The rear brake is under the BB.
Campag have just released a ctr pull rear brake that will be perfect for this bike.

Went with the 105, traditional shape bars work well with the hood. Done with compacts.

Basic build: TCX Frameset, 105, Velocity A23/105 hubs with Challenge Grifo clinchers. Probably will get some Thorne chainrings for a 46/38 racing setup. But for now, it's good to go. :)

Also, fully sealed custom Yokozuna setup. Suck it, Gore.

My main commute, training bike, "grafter". Mid 90's Norco aluminium frame, mixed Campag group.

Summer bike no 1. 1994? Colnago Master Olympic. Campag Record Ergo 8 spd groupset. (says velospace at the bottom as I stuck this pic on there when I first bought the bike!)

Late 70's Saba, Columbus, mainly Campag record. I don't know much about this marque, I've been told it's Italian and some of the frame's features seem to back this up. Any info would be appreciated! Only comes out occasionally! Since changed to a 90mm Cinelli 1A stem and white bar tape. Also got an 80's Roberts which is a work in progress. will post up some pics of all four when I get some more on flickr!

Whoa! What I think you have there is an old Sabatini, "Saba" for short. I've seen only one of these in my life and it was a late 70's model, judging by the decal design this is one that was quite possibly made in the mid 80's sometime towards the end of his career.

Über rare, take care of that thing!

^Ah how I wish this were true Roger!! From what little information I can gather Saba was the name of the company that imported Columbus tubing and other high end Italian components into the UK in the 70's. These framesets were comissioned by them but who actually built them is a mystery.

Some say they were built in Italy, others have claimed England. It's a beautifully built frame that rides like a dream with pretty interesting lugs, fork crown details and seat cluster so I'd really like to know who the builder is. (Will post up detailing when I get some good pics.) I guess these were built to showcase the products imported by Saba. Apparently they also imported Omas products and this bike has an Omas titanium bottom bracket and gold headset.
Thanks for the reply though!! :)

I see the Mapei bibs or jersey in the background, good combo. Any idea what else you're going to put on it? A prelude to the final build ;)
