Lets face it foxxy, your life would be empty and pointless if you didnt have Horner to hate :p

No, I still have to beat you at the GGTG. That´s all of my life. ;)
Anyway, I honestly think your Sky/Froome hate is bigger. My Horner hate just stands out, because many like this bald alien caricature.

I am stunned. Other obvious dopers who shine now and then at GTs (before they disappear into anonymity again, where they came from) at least get considered for the worlds... But Horner wasn´t even in the race. That says a lot. Even major doping riddled USA cycling stood away from this toxic chemical enhanced something... Heck it doesn´t say a lot; It says everything.

OFC, the biggest cycling talent & best ever stage rider in the history of this sport should be part of the world championship and show all those lazy young riders what hard work and dedication can do for you.

Not sure the rider's agent talking is much of an indication that they are trying very hard to resign him.

team says its 50/50, Race Radio says they have no interest.. hmm who to believe.

I think Lampre busted their own rider Pre-vuelta and are looking to not draw attention to this. I think it will die a slow death and he will not be Lampre in 2015, but its speculation.

But why not get a RadioShack '11 Trek (TT) bike then???

Whatever they have on-hand is the what I've noticed. They don't seem to pour good money into painting bikes for the current sponsorship cycle and give them out as trainers. Maybe some teams do, but based on my limited experience in the U.S. Horner getting some excess Trek sponsorship OEM product is sort of the high-end good deal.

They seem to go through a bunch of them racing them during a sponsorship cycle anyway. Which is why I'd never buy a racer's bike.

But, that CX bike is a good deal. That's generic retail gear.

My C50 is a used Pro bike. Great decision. It showed it was experienced and the seller even replaced the race scarred levers but not the bent bars? 7 years old now and still perfect.

They probably get old bikes for training at home.

Yup, Very common for teams to send last years bikes to riders to use as training bikes. Especially TT bikes, which don't get much use.

There used to be a big event every year outside of Paris where many of the teams would come sell bikes at the end of the season. A good buddy of mine bought one of Boardman's CA TT bikes for nothing. He still has it.

Is it common riders get to keep all the bikes when switching teams, or do they have to buy them for smaller cost etc?
